Product Overview

Zheng Bang’s Antioxidant is mixed and water-based, ideal for use in PVC, ABS, MBS resin, NBR and SBR emulsion as a chain terminator and stabilizer. For these various resins and emulsions, it acts as a mix of both antioxidant and dispersant. Frequently used in the PVC polymerization process, our Antioxidant is a complex type thermal stabilizer aqueous micro-emulsion with 40% active ingredients. It can prevent the thermal degradation of PVC during manufacturing, processing and usage, and is recommended to enhance the stability of PVC resin.

Key Features

Highly efficient chain termination

When the Zheng Bang Antioxidant is used in PVC production, it effectively stops or neutralizes the chain reaction of free radicals. This is called high chain termination efficiency. Because our Antioxidant has excellent chain termination capabilities, it prevents the chain reaction of free radicals, thus protecting the PVC polymer from degradation and maintaining its integrity and performance over time.

Heat aging resistance

Since PVC materials are often exposed to elevated temperatures during processing, it is critical that our Antioxidant has heat aging resistance. This is because heat can accelerate the degradation of PVC, leading to color changes, a reduction in its mechanical properties and overall deterioration. The Zheng Bang Antioxidant has strong heat aging resistance to effectively delay or prevent the degradation of PVC under high-temperature conditions, ensuring the material’s stability and longevity.

Not susceptible to freezing and thawing

In certain applications and environments, PVC materials may experience repeated cycles of freezing and thawing, which can cause mechanical stress and potential damage to the material. The Zheng Bang Antioxidant protects against this with good freeze-thaw resistance. This helps PVC products maintain their integrity and mechanical properties even after repeated temperature variations. Freeze-thaw resistance is especially important in applications where PVC materials are exposed to cold climates or subjected to frequent temperature fluctuations.

Versatile option

This Antioxidant has the ability to act as a chain terminator and a thermal stabilizer, making it a versatile option for manufacturers in the PVC industry. With a recommended dosage of 200-500 ppm as a chain terminator and 500-2000 ppm as a thermal stabilizer in the polymerization process, manufacturers have the flexibility to select the appropriate amount to suit their needs.
